Real Men On Top: Book Launch and Conversation

  • Doors at 6:30pm

  • Event at 7pm

Join us to celebrate the launch of Real Men on Top: How Patriarchy Shapes Our Reality, a new book by philosopher Robin Dembroff (Yale University) that reframes patriarchy not as a system that simply benefits men, but as a set of myths about "Man" that channel wealth and power upward — at enormous cost to women, children, animals, and the vast majority of men.

Robin will be in conversation with writer and producer Jaclyn Moore, known for Dear White People and her work reshaping Queer as Folk for a new generation. Expect a wide-ranging, personal, and sharp conversation about gender, power, and who patriarchy actually serves — followed by audience Q&A.
