About nina
nina began with a simple ambition: to create a community "third space" in Atwater Village, Los Angeles — a place where creativity, conversation, and connection could unfold freely and affordably.
From that neighborhood experiment grew a broader mission: to build and provide inspirational, financially accessible spaces that support artists and creative practitioners.
The vision expanded to the mountains with the creation of The Artist Residency at nina Idyllwild and continues to evolve toward long-term sustainability and thoughtful growth.
Meet the Team
Our team is a mix of artists, cultural workers, and operators shaping nina's next chapter.

A note from Suzanne
I created nina because I needed her.
After twenty years building and advising businesses and teams, I wanted to create a space that reflected the life I was stepping into — one rooted in creativity and shared values, and filled with the kind of people I want to be around: creators, writers, artists, queer folks, and anyone forging their own path.
nina is a place to gather and connect. It is also an experiment in building differently. Proof that cultural relevance, enduring value, and human-centered impact are drivers of success.
Come writers, artists, filmmakers, and founders.
Come with your unfinished drafts and unwavering dreams. Come if you're starting over, starting late, or starting something that doesn't yet have a name.
Bring your ideas. Bring your uncertainty. Bring your becoming.
There's space for you here.
