In September 2025, we quietly opened applications for the pilot season of our artist residency, and were astonished to receive over fifty submissions from LGBTQ+ artists across California.
The response affirmed what we felt from the beginning: that space itself can be a form of care.
The Artist Residency at nina Idyllwild is a heart-forward work-in-progress, and we’re thrilled to introduce our inaugural cohort of residents: six extraordinary artists whose work reflects the spirit of this place and community.
