About the event
A Little Closer: Queer Friendship, One Turn at a Time
A night of low-stakes rehearsal for the relationships you want, led by Dr. Logan Juliano (they/them), relational designer, imagination activist, and UCLA lecturer.
How it works: after we meditate and introduce ourselves, you’ll sit with a stranger and roll a die. It offers a feeling, and the words are already waiting for you. Your partner listens and says thank you. You can pass on anything, anytime. Then we rotate, find someone new, and do it again, and again, and end with tea and time to linger. No one needs to improvise questions or rush responses. Leave knowing something real about three people you just met.
Come if you’ve ever arrived at a party already doing math about when you can leave.
Come if you’re between friend groups or haven’t quite found your people.
