Language as Nourishment: A Co-Working Evening for Writers
Last year, hosts Danielle, Emily, and Sarah began a tradition of writing//cooking weekends, during which (as presumed) long, expansive hours of writing, reading, prompts, journaling, discussion, baking, cooking, and wine-consuming took place, with phones set on do not disturb.
Language as Nourishment at nina will be a microcosm of these weekends, giving participants an open, judgment-free space to work on their own writing projects, in any genre and at any stage.
Throughout the course of the evening, the hosts will offer various generative prompts and exercises, as well as optional moments to chat and co-ideate. If you want to come and simply read your book while underlining your favorite lines, that’s also very welcomed. Bring your laptop, your books, your notebooks, your favorite pen, sticky notes, or whatever you need to be in community with words.
