About the event
Join Ayla McCarthy Combes (tarot reader, poet, and educator) as they guide you through the story of the Fool’s Journey— a simple tool for helping to create connections with the Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. Through discussing and utilizing storytelling and personal myth-building, developing our unique symbologies, as well as learning about the historical context of Tarot, we will build strong foundations over the course of this 2-hour workshop for creating an intimate relationship with this form of divination that is rooted in personal agency.
During the session, each participant will give + receive one tarot reading, and will go home with the tools necessary to begin or continue their personal Tarot practice with confidence.
Beginners + experienced readers welcome! No prior experience necessary :)
Please bring an open heart & mind, a journal, something to write with, a tarot deck (if you have one!), and a personal grounding…
