About the event
Word Spa // Holes
Word Spa LA is the brainchild of artists Michella Rivera-Gravage and Rowan West Haber. The series is a monthly, theme-based reading that invites the presentation of new, tentative, and in-progress work from both dyed-in-the-wool writers and artists who simply write.
Each gathering makes room for experimentation, new voices, and work still in formation. A suggested donation at the door supports a different organization each month.
This month we excavate holes, of all kinds. Please join us for a brilliant mix of queer writers exploring the themes of holes: glory hole, k-hole, rabbit hole, manhole, black holes, sink hole, bonus hole. All holes welcome. Readings will be followed by time to enjoy light refreshments, and to make some new friends.
$10 suggested donation at the door. All proceeds will go to Trans Youth Emergency Project.
